What classes should I take if I don't have any extracurriclars?

Consider Canadian Universities, such as McGill or university of toronto, as they are very prestigious but do not consider ANY ECs within their admissions. In fact, it is quite American thing to consider ECs… Maybe you should check out Universities in Europe too…

Just get into some extracurriculars. It will help you not only for college, but in making new friends and introducing you to new hobbies. Here are some things you could do, just off the top of my head: student government, community service groups (you could volunteer to help at a local community garden…), online coding classes, photography, blogging, making/participating in a magazine, or social justice type work for a cause you believe in.

Have fun! Don’t be so concerned about taking a super heavy course load. Do stuff that is fun and that you genuinely enjoy, and you’ll look back on your HS years more fondly.

Thanks @evelync. This thread is from a long time ago, how did it come back to life?

Oh my god, it totally is! Must’ve been jerrynomenon going way back in the forums. I didn’t even notice the dates.
