What classes should i take next year?

1.AP Calc AB (highest offer)
2.AP Physics
3.AP English
4.AP Gov/Econ
5.AP Stats or AP Art History

I'm torn between AP stats or AP Art History. My concern is whether or not my schedule is too rigourous. I'm a math person but I'm also passionate about other subjects as well. Also AP art history may help me with Academic decathlon.

I also have a question that many of my friends have a hard time answering. Does it look bad taking just 5 classes instead of 6? Seriously I don't want to take 6 APs and I definetly don't want to take 6 classes with some of them being college prep.

Any thoughts or advice is welcomed. What should i do about Art History? What should i do about 5 classes?

You could replace that sixth class with some interesting electives that you like.

It really depends on what you plan on majoring in in college. For example, if you're going to be an engineer, AP Art wouldn't be that useful.

I agree with above. But be careful taking that many APs. Remember that if you have any outside commitments it's going to take up a lot of time. It'd be better to take like 4 APs plus 2 interesting/easier classes rather than 5 APs and a free.

If you are a math person, take AP Stat.

It's actually a fairly interesting course and far more legitimate than AP Art History.

I'm actually considering going into the engineering/science field. But the thing is i love all different types of subject and my goal in life is to become a well rounded intellect. I've always been fascinated with art history.

Does it matter if my 6th class is an elective? What if it's a zero period? Does that still count?

bump...bump....
