i am a rising senior, and i plan on studying engineering in college. so i need to take calculus and physics. the problem is my school has a dual curriculum, which make it that they dont offer much in the general studies department. this year they are offering calculus (extremely basic, not ap, and most dont learn much; this is what i was told.), english, and AP macroeconomics, and Ap gov't. however these classes dont help much for engineering.

so............
i was planing on taking the calculus and physics (that all engineering colleges require) at a small college down the block ( a branch of touro college). however those classes would interfere with my high school classes. so i either would take:

1) college level calculus and physics

or

2) regular calculus, english and AP macroeconomics and AP gov't

the question is:

WHAT WOULD COLLEGES prefer choice 1 or 2? (this is only for one semester)

thanks in advance!!!!

sorry its so long!!!!
