Hey, I'm a college freshman right now. I'm an out of state student and I want to transfer to usc for fall 2010 for the film program; I looked at USC's core degree requirements, but it seems like none of my classes at my community college cover the usc core requirements.

At my community college I have classes like phil 101-intro to philosophy, Hist 102- us history from 1877 to present, and eng 101- english composition.

I really doubt these basic course can cover PHIL 115g Ancient Greek Culture and Society, HIST 105g The Korean Past or, HIST 102g Medieval Civilization.

It seems like any of the course that I can take at my community college wouldn't even be able to transfer to USC just because the USC courses seem way more focused on a topic.

Since some of you have transferred or are going to USC what would you recommend that I take that would transfer and go to my degree? My counselor is very unhelpful.
