Let’s just say I’m well liked and that many people knew me coming into the high school as I had taken courses there as a middle schooler. Furthermore, there was this article about me in the first school newspaper published about how I had helped several city and school clubs turn around and become successful during middle school (led math team to a top three finish in the state, with several thousand schools in the competition, put together the biggest fund raising events in my middle school’s history, etc).

I ran for class president, was elected, and also became one of the four presidents of leadership and the grand student council.

I was recommended by teachers and administrators at the beginning of second semester last year to become the representative of the students for our school site council based on my leadership abilities, personality, grades, attitude, etc (the current rep was graduating).

I was one of the ten elected to my city’s youth advisory council through rigorous interviews by city officials (approximately 80 applied).

I was made Head Attorney of our Mock Trial team due to the highest scores during tryouts for the team.

I became the Math Club President after being nominated by the Math Department and then solidified my position by attaining high scores in math competitions (145.5 AMC, 9 AIME, USAMO, etc)

I was made team captain of JV water polo since I was the amongst the best players on the team and was subsequently promoted to varsity.

My school is a well respected high school with excellent leadership quality (we have at least 15-20 or so students/year who go to top schools), if you doubt it, there isn’t much more I’m going to do to prove my point…
