I’ll give you a full status report after the Activities Fair on Friday.

What I can remember off the top of my head:
Best Buddies, GSA, Debate (we started this last year), Astronomy (another one from last year), UNICEF (again, from last year), IES (not really a club but okay), Ultimate Frisbee, Latin Club, Spanish Club (no French Club ?_?) AFS Intercultural, Yearbook, early signups for Relay for Life, Anime, and…yeah, that’s it.

National Honor Society (I’m a member, but is it considered a club?)
Spanish Club (Co-founder)
Literary Art Club
French Club
Newspaper
Campus Ministry
Interact
Model UN (member)
Art Club
Knitting Club
Book Club (doesn’t really exist anymore)

That’s it, no more clubs
Our school is more sports orientated you could say. We offer more sports than clubs. We have a small school, but most students don’t even join a single club.

Some of the clubs my school offers (I’m probably going to leave a bunch out):

Math Club
Chess Club
Creative Writing Club

Students Against Destructive Decisions. It’s an anti drug and alcohol club. I have no idea why they decided that was a good acronym.

Anyway, my school has a lot of clubs. It has SADD/SAVE (another group: Students Against Violence Everywhere). Language clubs for every foreign language that is offered (French, Spanish, Latin, German). Ethnic clubs (Asian Culture, Ebony Society, etc.). There are various academic interest clubs (“Chemical Society,” Physics Club, Math Club, etc.) And there’s debate team, a drama club, and an Academic Competition team.

There is also a step team, and male and female a capella groups. There is a jazz band (though there was actually a class last year, so it might not be considered a “club” anymore.) There is the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society. Gay-Straight Alliance, Young Democrats and Young Republicans, Youth and Government, service clubs like Habitat, Red Cross, and the Key Club. And random crap like Cookie Club and Ping-Pong club.

The school was really open about who can start a club. All you needed was 5 people and a teacher who could run the club or just be a supervisor. Between that and all the sports, it would have been considered kind of strange not to be involved in a couple after-school activities. I was involved in a lot.

Debate (but it isn’t great)
Amnesty International (I think it stopped this year)
Renaissance Society- culture/discussion
Christian Union
Atheists Society
Drama club
Cooking club (only open to 6-8)
Creative Writing (sometimes)
