What College Is Best For Me

I'm a junior in High school and I'm looking for a good business college to go to, but don't know which one to go to. I live in NJ, So the only really good business school around here is Rutgers. So I'm looking to go out of state, doesn't matter which state.

I have a 3.427 GPA. No AP"s or Honor's courses.

Chem-A-
English-B
History-A
Accounting-A
Finance-A
Algebra2-A-
Gym-A+ (Just thought I'd thrown that in)

SAT's- 1810/2400
Math- 600
Writing- 620
Critical Reading- 590

Not the toughest course's i could've took, or the best SAT's in the world, but I'm happy with them.

So if anybody has any suggestion's I'd appreciate It.

The apostrophe is used to denote possession.

Rutgers is an awesome school but I totally understand the desire to get out of state. I can’t even fathom the idea of going to anywhere here in Oklahoma.

Babson is an awesome place for business. It’s in Massachusettes and although I think it’s starting to get more and more competetive, it’s certainly not a Wharton at UPenn where almost everyone who applies gets rejected. I’d call it a good match school for you but someone who has more knowledge about getting into business programs would be a much better judge.

Also, try looking at Tulane down in New Orleans. The A.B. Freeman school of business is great and while Tulane got flooded with applications this year and will accept a much lower percentage of students for next year, it’s well within reach for you. I’d call it a low match. I’m going there next year and know a bit about the place so if you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a message.

hahahaha..

Dan, some schools to look at would be Fordham, St Joes, Bryant, UMass, Purdue and Michigan State.

but seriously learn to use the apostrophe ;)

Do you think Ohio State would be a good choice for me? and about the apostrophe’s i didnt notice how much i was using them

don’t you write in school? do you use apostrophes (no ') for every plural???

Just ignore the punctuation Nazis.

Your brief profile matches: Indiana University (Bloomington), Babson, Northeastern University in Boston, Southern Methodist Univ. (SMU) in Dallas, Texas & Fordham University. Wake Forest, Maryland & Georgia are reaches for you (Georgia is highly unlikely for a non-resident with 1190/1600 SAT I score). Minnesota & Penn State are also reaches for an out of state 1190/1600 business school applicant, in my opinion. The other schools in posts #9 & #10 above are definitely worth a look if you are just beginning your search; but Wake Forest, Maryland, Georgia & Minnesota are highly unlikely based on your posted info. as your math score of 600 is low for an intended business major–even if you were an in-state applicant at these schools. Indiana is a reach, but a reachable reach for you.

Closer to home the University of Delaware.

UDelaware and Rutgers would be fair matches. Maryland, Georgia, Wake Forest, Minnesota, UMichigan and Fordham would be significant reaches.

Minnesota, Fordham and Georgia are matches. Maryland andWake would indeed be significant reaches.

Thanks for all the responses guys
