The colleges I want to apply to are UC Berkeley, USC, UCLA. I want to major in Chemistry, at the same time be a pre-med student. Which college would be better for Chemistry? Which has smaller class sizes? Also, does USC have a good science program compared to the others? Overall, which would be the best school? Detail pleasem

I think you’re looking at large class sizes for all of these schools. As far as reputation, all three are good schools. Have you visited all three schools? It might be a good investment of your time to visit these schools on a regular school day to see what a typical day is like at each of these schools. You’re going to spend a long time at whichever school you choose to go, so you may want to make your final decision on which school at which you think you’ll enjoy life more at, rather than based solely on prestige.

Go to each school’s web site and search for its “schedule of classes” to see the class sizes.

Freshman general chemistry and sophomore organic chemistry will be among the larger classes at most selective schools, due to the popularity of majoring in biology and the popularity of doing pre-med (and general chemistry is also needed by other majors like engineering).

You do not need to major in chemistry or biology to do pre-med.
