I know for sure I want to be a medical attorney. Are there any college that offer a dual degree or accelerated program? Thanks for your time!

I’m not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking for, but both Occidental College and Whitman College offer 3/2 B.A./J.D. programs with Columbia (you spend 3 years at Oxy or Whitman, then 2 at Columbia). You should note, however, that you have to apply and be accepted to the 3/2 program.

Here’s some reading material:

[Occidental College :: Cooperative Arrangement with Columbia University School of Law](http://www.oxy.edu/x9530.xml)
[Combined Plans](http://www.whitman.edu/content/catalog/combined-plans)

It’s actually a 3-3 program where you spend 3 years at Columbia after 3 at your undergrad. Columbia has this arrangement with 28 schools, yet it is so difficult to qualify for it that Columbia has at most 1 or 2 students a year in the program. You would have to sacrifice your study abroad and still complete all your coursework at your undergrad, including your senior thesis (at Whitman), but in 3 years. You would be taking your LSATs in the first semester of your junior year.

In my law school class, students who planned on being med. mal. attorneys were those who already had a medical degree and were changing careers. When you say “medical attorney”, what type of practice are you contemplating?
