<p>I want to go to a online college/university to get a degree to become a software developer.</p>
<p>there are things I'm unsure of though..</p>

<li><p>what degree am I supposed to go for to become a software developer? I was going to get web development degree in computer sciences since they're both coding and programming but i heard it's a bit different..</p></li>
<li><p>do i need to go to a expensive but well known and reputable to get the job, or can I just get a degree from a state college?</p></li>
<li><p>will I be able to design and develop websites also (for friends and family members who needs a website for their business), if I study in software development program since it's both coding and programming?</p></li>
