<p>Im down to two colleges. One being the University of Michigan and the other is University of Detroit-Mercy. It would seem that U of M would be the clear better choice, but im having some second thoughts.</p>
<p>I am a lifelong fan of the wolverines, watched almost every Michigan football game and most basketball games. I was raised around Michigan fans, and it was always my dream college, I just wasn't sure I would get in.</p>
<p>So I started looking into the University of Detroit-Mercy. Their campus is obviously not U of M's but it is cool in its own way. Maybe I wouldn't be living the typical college party life if I went there, but I have friends going there. Also, what drew my interest to them is their 7 year BS/DDS program. With this program, I would graduate in one fewer year, have less debt (I received a nice scholarship). What draws me towards this program is the fact that their classes are geared more towards dentistry, and Im feeling that my education here would be on par with what I would receive at Michigan.</p>
<p>But, how can I not go to my dream school?? All the work ive done to be accepted here...would seem like a waste. But I think that it would be easy to get lost in a crowd here, sitting in huge lecture classes.</p>
<p>I am pretty sure that im going to Michigan, but can anyone thats been through a similar situation give me some advice?? I know this is my decision, im just looking for some insight from someone whos been through this before</p>
