I'm an international student who are planing to study abroad in USA 2010.
We don't have the same gradesystem as you, but I think I'm going the get a GPA around 3.2 - 3.4.
I want to attend a college with a Graphic design and/or fine arts major.
I also want the college to have a soccer team i the NCAA I.

Please come with suggestions for colleges that you think I can get into.

My first choice is also to apply for colleges in California..
But come with other good suggestions to

California College of the Arts? I don’t know much about their admission standards but it’s the first thing that came to mind with California and art/design.

It also depends if you want to go to a art/design school or a big university with that program. The College Matchmaker happymomof1 posted above is great.

Well, the soccer division is pretty important. div 3 feels way to low.
Do anyone know a webpage or some way I can watch games from NCAA I? It would be intreresting.

Well, I’ve looked a bit myself and found 3 pretty interesting…
UCSB, San Diego State and CSU Northridge.
They all have either Graphic Design or Fine arts.

What GPA is needed to UCSB for an intrenationel student?
For all Schools: about what SAT score would I need with my expected grades?

The schools you mention are public so they take few internationals and will not give you any aid. That said, Santa Barbara would not be possible with your current GPA but the other two would probably be doable with a 1600-1700 score and a 3.2-3.4.

I prehaps, a college like Loyola Marymount University a better fit for me?
How big chance is there to get financial aid at LMU?
or maybe Santa Clara University?

Dumb for not understanding what i meant. I wasn’t fussing sigh. Ok to make it simple for you, i’ll go through it again.

You need to be able write grammatically correct english in college, right? For that, the only solution is IMPROVING your english. That is what he needs to do. The professors there are not interested in giving you lectures about your grammar mistakes in half the assignments you submit.

Let me make it simple for you. This is a fairly informal forum where spelling and grammar are less of a priority than exchanging information. People use informal language. Now you clearly don’t get that and insult others who try to put that across. So fine, continue with your acrimony cos I’m done with this diatribe.
