Hey everybody, I am an eleventh grader who is very passionate on the AIDS Epidemic in Africa. I want to work for the World Health Organization when I'm older, and I want to be an Ambassdor for Africa. I really want to help in the aiding of Africa. I don't know what I should major in when i go to college, any suggestions? I don't really wan't to major in health, I want to focus on AIDS. I'm from Africa, and I just think it such a beautiful continent, but so many people are dying from this disease. Some of the colleges that I am thinking of are:
California State University Nothridge
Emory University, Atlanta
University of Massachusetts Amherest
University of Maryland College Park
Florida State University
New York University
Does anybody have any other suggestions on colleges or what I should major in??
Thanks, and God Bless

I think for that, doing a pre-med-ish major, like Biology, and maybe taking courses in IR and maybe modern anthropology and sociology would be helpful. I take it you want to be an epidemiologist?

Best of luck, that is a very noble cause =)

(And I'm sure there are many people here who will have better advice then I, I just think those would be helpful)
