<p>Hey Guys, I was wondering what college you guys think I should apply to and my chances for those colleges. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Freshman GPA - 3.69
Sophomore - 3.45
Junior so far - 3.85</p>
<p>SAT - 2400 (I haven't taken any subject tests yet)
AP Tests -
AP Computer Science - 5
APUSH - 5</p>
<p>All the classes I have taken so far have been either Honors or AP except gym and studyhall
Freshman year - swim team

<p>Your gpa is low, so even with the 2400, you’re going to need a wide range of schools. I don’t really know what to suggest to you because you only gave us stats… Do you prefer rural or urban? Small or big campus? etc. liberal arts or national universities?</p>
<p>Also, we don’t know what you want to major in. We can aaaasume you want to go into CS from your computer club involvement, but that may be a wrong assumption.</p>

<p>What are you looking for in a school? Big, medium, small? Public or private? In-state or out of state? LAC? Ivy League? What do you want to study? How much can you afford to possibly pay per year?</p>
<p>thanks for the replies. I’m pretty confident that I’m going to major in computer science and econ. Also, I wanted to go to a big university, preferably ivy league. My dream school is Cornell. Also, the school should be in the northeast. As for money, that shouldn’t be much of a problem, I can take a loan and I already have a good amount saved up. As for my crappy GPA, do you think colleges might see the improvement? Also, I know it sounds pretty lame but I was bullied a lot my sophomore year and that kind of affected my grades.</p>

<p>Also, I just wanted to mention that I go to an extremely competitive high school, and currently I’m pretty sure I’m in the top 10% of my high school.</p>
