What College?

Hi.. im a new member to this great site. it was recommended to me by a friend and believe me, he wasnt even close to describing wat it is like being here.

anyways, im a high school graduate from India and i plan to take up undergraduate studies in the US. I scored a 92% average, and i will give the SATs in the month of October-November .Expect a score of about 1900-2000 in SAT I. i want to take up Computer Engineering.

Please post some colleges that i should apply to. I am very narrowed to the Ivys and the likes and i know that i may not get into any one of them .Thats y i wish someone advices me on what other colleges should i apply to. My current list goes somewat like this:

MIT (I'd rob a bank to get here!!!)
Princeton
Yale
CALTECH
UCONN
Pennstate
Purdue
NJIT
Ohio State
MIchigan State
University Of Texas.

Let me make a mention that Financial aid or scholarships would be a necessity for me. and ya.. please rank my list as reach, level and buffer.

Looking forward to hear from the community....

No one can give you any real information unless you give actual stats. And whatever your stats are, it is going to be an uphill battle trying to get FA/scholarships from most of the schools on your list. That's if you can get into them, which is also extremely difficult as an international applicant.

Hi... i know its hard to tell the universities because of the lack of data. but then can anyone just post a few good unis that provide CS in Computers?

Stanford and Cal (UC Berkeley) are conspicuously absent from that list. Both are famous for their computer science programs.

Not too sure but CMU?

RPI and URochester could be suited to you.
