<p>Yes, most of those still require an official one after you are admitted but the point is if you are accepted and are afterwards sending it the official report, it means you are planning to attend that college and don't need to send any more reports elsewhere. You obviously don't need to send them an offical report if you decide not to accept admission at the college. </p>
<p>Note, there are still a lot of colleges that require that official report for you even to be considered for admission. If you cannot afford the cost and can show that, it will be waived by the College Board.</p>
