You are a rising sophomore. What will you be doing to ensure that you don’t have a rough sophomore year?
Schools also look at trends, so make it an upward one. That will help. I don’t know of other schools that disregard freshman year grades.
University of California and all but one of the Cal States do not use Freshman grades in their GPA calculation, but you still have to pass all the a-g course requirements to be considered for admission so they are not disregarded.
