I come from a pretty competitive class at a very small public school, many people are applying to schools in and around Boston, ie BC, BU, Wellesly, MIT. There's a lot in Ohio too, Oberlin, Grinnell, Ohio Wesleyan, etc. Almost everyone in my class is applying to UConn, and a number of people are applying to URI as well.

mostly ucla/ucb/uci.. one of the ucs. or csu. or JC. i have big aspirations though.

WPI, air force academy

Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, Cornell, MIT, Duke, WUStl, Florida

Cornell for me

most want to go to UVA or W&M. But i want to go to colleges that are not in Virginia.

Most from my school go to the The University of NJ in New Brunswick, but we have at least one go Ivy each year. I'm personally looking at Brown or Swarthmore, but many of my friends would like to go to MIT.

Almost all my friends are applying to:

University of Calgary
University Of Alberta (edmonton)
University of Toronto
Queens (ontario)
Waterloo (ontario)
McGill (montreal)

lirael_indiia, I don't think I'm going to UConn, I want to move somewhere farther away, (Not too hard considering that UConn is 2 miles away). UConn also has too many parties IMHO. If I got accepted into an Ivy league, I would probably go there, otherwise I'm going west. I'm only a sophmore, so I'm not sure yet.

Most of the kids in my school want to stay close to home, and most go to Temple, Bloomsburg, Millersville, or West Chester. I chose to go to Duquesne (on the other end of the state).

Pretty much all my friends want to attend a UC (mostly Berkeley, LA, SD, or Irvine)

ehh most of my friends aren't going to big colleges, most community colleges, with the exception of my best friend, and we are going to room together at berkeley, provided we both get in. but most of the people in my AP classes want UCs.
