Anyone know?

I know that the UC schools don't, but I have no idea what other schools don't.

Stanford doesn't. Also, most schools give freshman year the least weight, if the other years are good. Lots of kids take a year to adjust to high school.

hmm

seems like it's only schools in Cal that don't!

UChicago, Carnegie Mellon, UC's, Umich, etc.

oh man that's a good list!

its very exciting learning about this!

bump!!!!

hahah sorry

Princeton doesn't look at freshman grades, either.

Hopkins doesn't, or at least they didn't a few years ago. They 'look' at 9th grade scores, but they don't include them in their overall 'score' of the applicant.

dang, freshman year was one of my best.... the APs have been steadily clobbering my GPA. I need to apply to a college that considers it...

Well to be honest, a downward trend in a GPA never looks good.
