What Colleges Have the Most SCHOOL SPIRIT?

We Penn Staters are known for our passion and pride. But if you talk to any of us you’ll see it extends far beyond athletic pride. We’re all proud to go to Penn State, and all of our alumni (worlds largest dues paying association, btw) are very proud to say they graduated from PSU. The media might paint us the wrong color, but we’re still a huge successful D1 sports school that knows how to have fun, and a top 50 world university at that. We Are!

I know Georgetown is huge on basketball.
And also in the area where I live: Penn State and Rutgers (usually the big schools have a lot of spirit)

Duke, ND, USC, SEC schools. Among top private schools-Dartmouth, Princeton, Williams, Amherst, Holy Cross, Davidson.

UNC – Men’s basketball is huge, and Dean Smith is revered. Women’s soccer is probably the greatest dynasty in college sports (22 national championships – 21 NCAA and 1 AIAW since 1981) and has a lot of diehard fans. In the past ten years there have also been NCAA championships in men’s soccer, women’s lacrosse, and field hockey; the baseball team has been in the College World Series several times. On any given day, half or more of the students will be wearing UNC shirts/caps/jackets. There is large fan support in NC and throughout the country.

Clemson – Football is huge, and Death Valley is a sea of orange during games. The fans travel to away games and have a huge orange presence there as well. Everyone in town, and half the state of SC, focuses on Clemson football. Other sports are not real big. It’s common in SC to have a Clemson-themed room in one’s house.

Appalachian – For a school that is not well-known nationally, App has enormous school spirit. The football program is big (App beat Michigan in 2007 and no one there has forgotten), but the students’ loyalty to their school goes way beyond that. I don’t remember ever meeting any App graduate who didn’t love Boone.

The good, the bad, and the ugly
Texas A&M, UT- Austin, OU (in whatever order suits you)

its a shame the rivalry is over cause I’d love to see manziel kick some longhorn ***

Ohio State too
