I also attended the New England High school Journalism Collaborative this summer.
I plan to major in something in the field of Social Studies, maybe Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, but I am not certain yet.
I'm looking for colleges in New England, mostly in Massachusetts.
What colleges would I have a good chance at and what would be my chances at very selective schools such as Harvard, Dartmouth, or Williams?
Also, since I am not yet a senior and have not officially selected my Senior year courses, are there any suggestions you have as to which classes I should take?
Thank you!!

You’ve got to tell us your standardized scores

Oops forgot, I haven’t taken the SAT and ACT yet but my PSAT score last October was a 176

Sorry I’m not sure, but what is the translated score into SAT?

SAT score would be 1760

The schools you mentioned- say Harvard, Williams as such, need at least SAT of 2300+ to get you a chance to be ‘looked at’. If you get approx 2200, I’d suggest you trying lower ranked schools such as Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, WashingU- they have good politics/international R programs

I would say your school scores are okay, but you might as well boost them up a little. Also, make sure you take some science subjects, it seems your senior year choices are restricted to humanities. But that said, standardized testings are the most important.
