I heard from one of the guidance counselors at my school that The University of Alabama will match bright futures if you are granted it. Are there any other colleges that will do the same? I really want to go to Georgia Tech, but because it is out of state, it’s very expensive. My main choices are UNC Chapel Hill, Duke, and Georgia Tech. Do any of these match bright futures? If not are there any other ways that I can financial help?
^ That’s not true about Alabama. No schools will match in-state scholarships. The best way to get help is to score high on the SAT or ACT and have excellent grades. Alabama has merit aid for that. UNC, Duke and GTech are going to need MUCH higher stats than Alabama.
