I have a 3.0 gpa but i am involved in varsity sports and have been captain 2 of them. I got a 1760 on the SAT's. I fell in love with Elon, but I know it's a reach school. I am looking anywhere on the east coast from florida to massachuesetts. I want a good school and keep looking at schools but none pop out to me. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm also looking at High Point University, East Carolina University..maybe syracuse? and even maybe try a reach school for BU. Im really lost though. HELLPPP!

You are going to have to be more specific. What size school are you looking for? Rural/suburban/urban? What about Elon was most appealing, the size/location/academic offerings/make-up of student body? You mention that you play two sports, do you hope to play in college as well? Just a few things to think about.

Elon is a real good school, all my friends that go there love it. ECU is a party school and everyone I know at HPU did not really like it.

I'd say NC State is a pretty good school

If you liked Elon, I would also look at Bridgewater and Lynchburg in Virginia. Smaller, but they both seemed to have some of the things we liked about Elon. In North Carolina, I'd suggest Lenoir-Rhyne, UNC-Asheville and Western Carolina in addition to ECU and HPU. But I agree with ecalum -- we need more info about what your'e looking for, and why you liked Elon so much.

Also look into University of Mary Washington (VA), Christopher Newport (VA), Marist (NY), College of Charleston (SC) and Towson (MD).
