So i start college this summer due to a program and i am not sure what major i want. I was really bent on doing cs as i was enrolled in apcs in high school. Right now i have a C in that class(still in highschool in case u were confused). The course is hard we have 18 chapters and we cover each chapter in a week. We have to try really hard on the lab and tests. Maybe the grade is low because i have 6 other classes including ap physics (A in that class) and in college i might have more time. In junior year i worked a little with hardware and enjoyed it. I also worked with html and c++ that year and had fun. This year with java in apcs my grade was A in first quarter, B in 2nd and now C. So what should i do how are cs and computer engineering different and if u wanna suggest me any other computer major i will take a look. I am going to uri.
If you like it do it.
The projects you do in college ans what you do cs related outside of class beats gpa anyday as long gpa is not too bad(2.8-3.2)
In high school, I had a C in intro programming and ap cs
Then senior year of high school i took a course advanced topics in ap computer science and currently fluctuate between AB
Passion helps a tremendous amount in xomputer science
