Case in point, the application asks me to list extracurricular leadership roles I have had in my activities. I'm a cyclist, a rower, and a swimmer, although I do not belong to an official team or organisation. </p>

<p>Basically anything you do outside outside of your curriculum is an EC, so yes, those would count.</p>

<p>You could put them under “Extracurriculars” if you want, though an unorganized sport will not likely mean as much to admissions officers.</p>
