<p>So, I have a nice list of focused, official ECs that I've done over the years (like clubs and summer programs), but I really love to bake, I've been active in various fandoms for years, and I do art. Can I include these things in my list of ECs on the common app?</p>
<p>I'd also like to write my EC essay about being active in fandom (writing fanfiction, making fanart, the fantastically collaborative creative and intellectual environment I've found in fandom), because everything I've read has said that taking risks is good...and that would definitely be a risky essay. Thoughts? Thanks!</p>
<p>Oh, by the way, I'm mostly applying to little liberal arts schools with good reputations.</p>
