what counts as math/science?

hi everyone,

does anyone know if behavioral neuroscience (it's listed under psychology...) can be counted toward one's math/science gpa? i know it's not listed under biology, physics, chemistry, or math, but it does include a fair amount of science in it (hence the "science" in the name!). it thus seems counterintuitive that it WOULDN'T be included, but maybe i'm wrong. hopefully somebody can give me a definitive answer? thanks so much! :)

No one can really answer this question. You can list it as a science course and AMCAS will correct it if they don't see it the same way. AMCAS verifiers will use two things to determine where a course will go: the department that offers it and the course title.

Almost certainly not. Department heading (in this case psychology) is almost always the deciding factor.
