What counts as "work experience"?

<p>If I've worked as a financial advisor/stockbroker do these count toward work experience for a financial analyst position? Also, if I have an internship in college at a discount stockbroking firm, does that count toward "work experience"?</p>

<p>They do count as work experience. I would also include related courses if you believe your experience as an Advisor is not fully transferable as a FA.</p>
