woOt for 2 more hours of sleep!

I didn't take Geog 4, but I did take Geog 133 w/ Burnett. Honestly, I didn't enjoy his class that much. I found that he went off-topic too much, and the amount of prep for the midterm and final was outrageous. I mean, he offered us the questions beforehand, but when you have eight questions you're trying to memorize for...pros and cons, I guess. Especially for the final, when I had to memorize 21 essays (outlines, of course), but it was pretty overwhelming. I would recommend w/ a grain of salt.

ok now that i've got my priority enrollment back my spring schedule is looking like this...

stats 10 davis (lec 1 or 2)
ling 20 stabler
french 2 jansma
GE cluster 21CW

...anyone have any thoughts on ling 20/stabler or french 2/jansma?

what r u using second pass

me? i'm using priority on stats and ling 20... so second pass on french and GE cluster.

does anyone know the first days of priority, first and second pass?

i've got the 21st (early morning) for priority and the 6th (evening) for second pass. is that good or bad?

How does this work? I am going to be sophomore standing after I pass all my classes this quarter, but URSA still says I am a continuing freshmen standing.

Lame! That means anyone who has priority has priority + first pass before I can pick anything!

Heehehee :)

yah, boelter, you're a freshman UNTIL you've passed your units this quarter. just because you know you're going to doesn't mean they wanna admit you're going to.
i got soph standing after last quarter so now i have a decent priority pass, the last soph appt for first pass (but it doesn't matter), and almost the first soph appt for second pass.
woOOoot!

oh and don't worry about people having priority AND first pass before you, because anyone who uses priority can't use first pass to add more units. they have to wait til second pass to do that. first pass just lets us shuffle around units, if we're so inclined.

Do you guys think it will be difficult to get CHEM 14BL or MATH3B spring quarter? I would suspect not because it's off the typical, suggested lower-division course requirements for biology majors. However, limited space and the 500-600 14A students this quarter is cause for concern.

math 3b shouldnt be a problem, but chem 14bl most likely.

not all of the fall06 chem 14a people have taken 14bl (ex. my roommate) and now the winter07 14a people (ex. me) will want to take 14bl.

i think i'll settle for 14bl in the summer

yeah... to all of you thinking about enrolling in lab classes, they are definitely the classes that fill up the quickest so be sure to use priority pass for them

which reminds me... i hope to be taking:

Chem 153B
Chem 153C
Chem 156

Oh joy...

What's your major, ckings86?

Hmm... I might add a music history course to my schedule if I can make some adjustments with my math class.

This is a death wish...

I got to enroll as a sophomore before I finished my units last quarter

I'm a biochem major... and i was actually thinking last night that I might be able to switch out one of the 153 classes with a random UD class or even a LD class... b/c that sure is a LOT of biochem in one quarter....
