I've been accepted as GT for CALS next year and will be attending URochester for my first year. What courses should I take as a prospective pre-med majoring in biology? Would appreciate any help, thanks!

the new standard first year bio courses will be:
two semesters of choosing some kind of “freshman level core-level course” which is brand new and replaces regular intro bio. you could probably just take regular intro bio at U of R.
two semesters of general chemistry.
calculus (you need two semesters of college level math)
and something else, like a freshman writing seminar. I don’t know if you taking a writing course at U of R would transfer and fulfill the writing seminar requirement.

I know there are lots of transfers on CC though so they might know a bit more about the sorts of credits that will transfer well.
