It is currently my second year at a junior college. I am planning on transferring in Spring 2016. My current GPA is a 3.0 but there is a chance it will go up. I want to major in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders. I was just wondering what my chances of getting into a CSU are. My top choices are SJSU, Sacramento State, and CSU Fullerton but I am still applying to all CSUs. What CSUs do I have a chance of getting in to? Also, I live in the Bay Area if that makes a difference. I have heard that you have a higher chance of getting into some schools if you live in the same area.

I suggest you scour the Transfer threads of each of CSU schools you are interested in and see what the posted GPA’s are for the transfers accepted last year. This will give you an idea of how you compare. SJSU lists the GPA thresholds for all the majors (only CSU that I could find), here is the link: http://info.sjsu.edu/web-dbgen/narr/admission/rec-10079.11651.html
