<p>Yeah, since January 1st, I’ve only received automated responses from CMU’s admissions office.</p>
<p>Hopefully they have everything filed properly and they’re just bad about updating the web site.

I hope the folder is more up to date than the online status.

At a visit they said they had had a really big surge of applications and their system seems to be struggling with the overload. However, they are the nicest people on the phone so just go ahead and call…</p>

<p>^ Small consolation prize for you, last year DD got her decision on March 24, a little bit ahead of schedule. But be warned, they released decision in waves, some people got their decisions weeks later.</p>

DS has decisions due February through April.</p>

<p>I called for DS. They asked basic info like birthdate and zip code. I had his CMU admission ID# too but they didn’t need it. They were very nice and helpful.</p>
<p>Finally realize that two of my teacher recs did not reach CMU by calling them. This is troubling me: gotta find a way to have the recs faxed, while it’s a long holiday here in Hong Kong now.</p>

<p>Could be the HS transcript…you could call the office and ask just to make sure and have your school fax it over.</p>
<p>My son’s list shows HS transcript received. I guess we’ll need to call tomorrow and ask about “School Report Form”, since it was flagged as missing. (Our high school does Common App as online for students, but hardcopy for school portion… .perhaps that causes some kind of snafu.)</p>

<p>I have a problem… im positive that they have received everything that they require, as they listed on the “Where am i in the process” list for me, including transcript, mid-year grades, teacher recs, and official sat 1 and 2 scores. but it still does not say that my application is complete. anyone else have the same problem?</p>
