For regular decision applicants that got deffered EA.

I would like to know as well. Collegeboard says their deadline to notify students is April 1, but I’ve heard that financial aid info comes out sooner than that, so I’m assuming our decisions will, too. Last week of March maybe?

Last year, my son’s letter arrived on March 30 (Regular decision applicant, not EA applicant). Good luck!

Many people said that we would get them in late March, but if I remember correctly, it was around the first week in April. One could use this forum to track the effectiveness of the US Postal System as you will know when the packages are around you based on when other people gets them.

If you are an international…good luck. I’m a deferred student, and I received my letter in Feb when the decision date was December 15th.

actually, I remember international students getting theirs before everyone else because they email the decisions to international students

I heard thus far that the acceptances are sent in 8.5x11 envelopes and, in the past, have been normally received on a friday. I read on the website earlier that all applicants will know of a decision by April 10th. So I would venture to guess that acceptances will be received March 26th, April 2nd, or April 9th (all Fridays). Although this could be completely wrong!

2007-My S rec’d his acceptance on Friday, March 30th. We are 1 day mail time from South Bend.

I got mine on a weekday other than Friday - I remember this because the next day I went to school and I have a feeling that it was Tuesday or Wednesday for some reason. But yes, acceptances come in a package - last year’s theme was “Welcome Home”

@ hawkswim09… was “Welcome Home” on the outside of the envelope or on the actual letter?

@hawkswim09 Really? well…I live in Chile, so it’s kinda far away and slow =]

i am almost 100% sure that international students get emails

and it was a large white envelope and then there was a folder like pamphlet that said “Welcome Home” on it.

If you’re international you’ll probably find out via e-mail first. You do end up getting the “Welcome Home” package at some point, though. It’s probably not as exciting to get it already knowing you got in :P

@hawkswims09 thanks! Weird though, during EA they didn’t mail Int. students.

I live on the east coast and got my acceptance letter last year on March 30th - a Monday.
