So, D applied to 19 schools and has heard back from 11 (all but 3 were academic safeties): One rejected, one deferral, and 9 acceptances. She is still waiting on 9 RD decisions, and these are really the schools she is most interested in: Middlebury, Vassar, Skidmore, Bates, Barnard, Amherst, Mt. Holyoke and Colby. According to the decision calendar on our fridge, the first (Skidmore) is due on the 17th and the last (Amherst) is due on the 27th. What schools are you waiting to hear from?

DS applied to 11. Accepted at 6. Waiting for Haverford, Hamilton, Macalester, Muhlenberg, and St Lawrence. He is more patient then I am. Worried about getting to accepted student days and financial aid packages. Do you ever think your kid did too good a good putting his/her list of colleges together. DS is having trouble eliminating schools.
I applied to 10 schools and have heard from 6. All acceptances so far. Waiting on Cal Poly SLO (giving up hope), UCI, UCSB and UCD. The UC’s and SLO are reaches so I am already considering my top 2 choices out of the 6. Congratz to all.
I applied to 12, heard back from 3. Two of which were safeties (Virginia Tech and UMass Amherst) and one was a match (UNC - Chapel Hill). I’m waiting on Stanford, Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, U. Southern California, UVA, Santa Clara U, UCLA, and UC Berkeley.
Basically all the reaches are what’s left!
