Had kids in the first place. It's too painful. As soon as they can walk, they start thinking about leaving, and they take our hearts with them. S #2 plotting his escape as I type...we're back to the cats, exactly where we were before having babies. Would have been simpler to just stay with the cat plan; no shortage of them and they don't talk back or spend your retirement fund on a college education. Here kitty kitty kitty...."

This is utterly hilarious and at the same time...TRUE! :D

Found the www.princetonreview.com site and used the "Counselor-O-Matic" feature to narrow our search based on major, location, GPA, & SAT. It isn't very accurate regarding which school are matches, etc. based on your actual chances of getting in, but it gives you alot of schools to research (I started with 12 and she applied to 7). One thing we'll do differently with my younger D is have her start taking the SAT in 9th grade. If you wait until Spring of Junior year you don't have enough time between administrations to improve your score as much as if you began taking it earlier.

LOL dizzymom. Very funny. Alas, we'll be back to the dogs.
