<p>Harvard mails everything - rejection, acceptance and waitlist.
But most schools mail neither rejection nor waitlist (I know Duke and Amherst don’t, so Im guessing Yale won’t either). I believe the logic is for acceptance, you actually need the rest of that info, and for rejection, it’s just a statement with no need to respond to it, but for waitlist you can fill out the waitlist card online, so theres no point mailing it as well.</p>
<p>In terms of what I will be doing with my rejection letter, I will be pinning up on the bulletin board I am buying for my future dorm, with the “big envelope” I received when I got a Harvard app in the mail, so I will be inspired to work harder to transfer to Harvard next fall.</p>
