me and my friends will probably have a party dedicated to burning rejection letters…haha. indeed it’s an amazing way of putting it in the past.

OMG I just started a Facebook event titled that! Thanks for the idea!

I’ll let you know if I get one :p. One college left to hear back from.

Hey, all you guys who think you’re going to get rejected from Northwestern, fear not! My sister goes there and she wasn’t even in the top 15% of her class and had C’s on her transcript (in 9th grade. Maybe in 10th). But who was rejected? Her friend the salutatorian (her other friend, one of four vals, who were all her friends, got in but went to UPenn). And she’s a really good student there, so it’s not like you are on the lower GPA side in HS, get in to NU and then suck. There’s hope for you yet!

No rejection letters yet FTW.

MIT hasn’t sent me one…? Are they going to?

When I get rejected I am going to send the school a note telling them that “sorry I could not chose so-so, I have been accepted to better school, I would tell them that I would not be choosing due to the fact that I am a little too good for them”… MIT will have fun with that…

I like Vitares, though.

Me & some friends are having a bonfire & burning all of our rejection/waitlist letters, along with all papers we have regarding those schools :)

I frame them and leave em in my room…

I’ve only recieved one rejection letter… from BC. I just threw it away. I kept my Bates waitlist letter though. That was far more disappointing than my BC rejection.

****ing BU waitlist. When that letter comes I’m gonna rape it so hard.

Recycled it. Like a good environmentally-conscious American citizen.

I am saving mine and framing the one from my first choice school to motivate me so I don’t slack off in college (my goal is Harvard Med) because class rank is what got me this time around.

what is a rejection letter. i have not received one. should i have?
