damn that sucks cause i know i got one wrong

composite 27
english 30 (writing 9)
math 24
science 26
reading 27

pretty happy with it

33 C

35 E
32 M
32 R
31 S

SOO HAPPY! I honestly didn’t think I got over a 30, much less that I scored 31 or higher on every section. AHH. Such a relief.

Wait.. if I got 2 subscores of 18 for English, wouldn’t that be a 36 instead of a 35?

u said u got 32 on reading?

Oops..I meant English

Congrats to all of you with scores above 30!! :)

oo ya idk how the subscores work

So for those of you who got your scores back already, can you estimate the curve for each subject? I know about Reading: -1 = 34, but what about the others?

How do you find out what the curve is??

C:30
E:34
M:31
R: 27
S: screwed me over 26

I second Gia89, what is the curve and why on earth is the reading curve so harsh? While that section wasn’t super difficult, it sure wasn’t easy either!

Any thoughts?

summerinthecity- maybe it has to do with rounding? Like, if you had 17.5 and 17.5, they’d round up to 18 but the whole thing would round up to 35.

I didn’t think the reading section was hard on this one. There was only really one question I was unsure about, and I apparently got it right because I got a 36. That’s harsh though.

Composite — 34

English - 35
Math - 36
Reading - 32
Science - 33

What’s with the English section? i got 2 subscores of 18.. so i didn’t miss anything.. was curve -0 = 35?

also, wasn’t reading also -1 = 34? i got a 32, so i missed about 3 or 4, right?

well, at least i’m done with this standardized testing now.. i should be good now for college

I got a nice score but I am a bit paranoid, is this for SURE the real scores? I mean is there absolutely no chance it will change?

Um my curve estimates:

English i’m not sure
Math: -5 was a 33
Reading: -1 34
Science: They don’t give you subscores for it. I guessed on 5 and got a 30.

Peytoncline–same thing happened to me. I can’t imagine that they would make a -0=35 curve so I don’t know what’s going on with that.

in february i got two english subscores of 18 and a 35 for the section… you can miss one and still have subscores of 18.

Peytoncline. My subscores were 18 and 18 and I had a 36… so…

Help!! how did you guys find out so fast? I’m T from illinois…act.org says the mult choice will be up starting april 23.
