I'm a sophomore and I just took it without any prep and got a 1930. Is that good/bad, will I be able to hit 2200+ by the time I'm a junior/senior with prep? On the plus side I got a 12 on the essay ^_^ and as usual the reading comprehension was my best section o.o

I’d say 2200 is a very possible and realistic goal to achieve. Work your ass off.

Okey dokey, officially setting my goal to a 2250 by senior year!

But don’t forget though. Jumping the final 2000-2200 is the hardest thing ever. Going from 1400-1900 is easier. Do a couple more practice tests though, see if your score increases/decreases, to make sure you just didn’t have an easy practice test, and instead of setting your essay score to 12, give it something like a 7 or an 8. So you can work under the worst conditions.

Good luck on all your future endeavors.

Thanks and ugh I knoww, I’m guessing since I got that score without any preparation and just took it on a whim that I should be able to make it with good old hard work. I actually did it online and they graded my essay for me, I’m pretty self critical so if I was grading it myself I’d have given myself a 8 :p
