don't you wonder - how much could that question POSSIBLY influence their decision? i KIND OF understand questions like "favorite book" or "favorite movie" - they're trying to get to know you better and figure out what type of person. but, what could someone's favorite WORD possibly ever tell you about them?

I put acoustic as mine.
Also my favorite quote is from Garden State:
"If you can't laugh at yourself, life's gonna seem a whole lot longer than you like."

I was going to put myxomatosis because I'm a huge Radiohead fan and it's an interesting word, but decided to change when I found out it's a disease that rabbits get (kinda weird). So i just did opinion as my word cause I like 'em lol.

hmmm. I'm not applying, but this thread caught my eyes. did anybody put "hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia?"
I don't know if it has been brought up yet (and i'm not going to go through 11 pages to check it!)

Having read some of your posts on the Stanford forum, I can almost assure anyone that that's complete BS. Take a screenshot of the grayed out text boxes on the application to prove me wrong, but I certainly don't believe you.

quote from "the princess bride": My name is Inigo Montoya; you kill' my father, prepare to die. :-) (great movie btw, anyone who hasn't seen it should ;-))
