I have many extracurricular activities and I was wondering what you all put for your ten activities in the common app.
If you have more activities than room for, try grouping things together. For example, my D had a bunch of music ECs so she combined them into one. Same for some of her STEM activities.
For me: Model UN, a Political Club, a volunteer org, part-time job, tutoring, and french club
I didn’t fill out all the slots. I had a few major commitments. Dance, tennis, leader of a diversity club, volunteering at a hospital, volunteering at camp, and art. If you need help narrowing down, I’d recommend trying to stick to only things that were a major time commitment or stuff you were a leader in. For example, my high school has lots of clubs that meet for a half-hour at lunch once a 7-day rotation, which most colleges wouldn’t care about unless you were a leader. If you run out of slots, leave off stuff like this (unless you were in a leadership position)
