<p>darks0ulz, I actually went for another perspective, arguing that one’s gain is invariably another person’s loss. Will I get marked down if my argument is one sided?</p>
<p>I talked about the economic concept of Pareto Optimality, the merger of Delta and Northwest and how two companies ostensibly uniting to achieve a common goal can hurt smaller airline companies with less pricing power, and I gave an example from A View From The Bridge.</p>
<p>Another question - my example of Pareto Optimality was very economics-ish. Do they appreciate or look down upon students applying knowledge from unrelated subjects to English?</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure, if you support your thesis, don’t spell terribly or screw up the english language, you’ll be fine. I think all they care about if your ideas are sound in regards to supporting your thesis.</p>
