What did you write your essay on

The writing in “cursive” portion of the SAT was by for the most difficult part for me.
Btw, the essay about how moderation is an obstacle for success was too easy. :)

Im basically the same, i want to get a nicer sig though

I used Saddam Hussein, made up a book, and made up a personal experience as my 3. The Jan. one was easier.

i couldn’t think of what to write for this essay. i was very vague and talked about presidents of the us. I’m so screwed on this essay and CR. math and writing MC was good.

I got the leaders one and talked about Richard Nixon. My essay was awfully short though. Only about 1 and a quarter pages. Anyone else a slow writer?

I got the leaders one and wrote about Indira Gandhi and Joseph Stalin, and had about an inch of space left :)

I have a question, i mentioned a quote that kid cudi said in the conclusion, how would the collegeboard look at this. Negatively? I hope not

http://bossip.files.■■■■■■■■■■■■■/2009/02/kid-cudi-4.png?w=449&h=671

^if I was grading your essay, you would get a 14(out of 12)
but I don’t think it would hurt, probably help actually

@boston1993
I’m sure those essay graders wouldn’t mind :D

Got the leaders essay, wrote about Napoleon and Snowball from Animal Farm, FDR, and McCarthy (lol).

I wrote my intro paragraph then erased it and changed my opinion… still managed to fill up the two pages though in 20 min.

Alright that helped relieve me. Do you think the graders would even know who he is

MLK Jr., Darius (Persian king), and Themistocles

I used Saddam Hussein and Suharto as examples and I alluded to but did not mention Hitler. I wrote one paragraph about moral relativism and one that related the works of Noam Chomsky to the topic. However, I wrote my essay more about how leaders of different countries are treated differently than about how leaders are treated differently from average people. Hopefully that doesn’t count as “off-topic.”

Used Governor of South Carolina and a made up personal experience. I usually get 10-12 essays, I probably got a 7 on this one, it killed.

I wrote about Hitler (now that I think of it, waayy too obvious of an example :p), Andrew Johnson, and the CEO’s of Enron. Haha that sounds like a really weird and unrelated list but I think it worked. I filled up both pages (idk, some people say it gives you a slight boost if you fill up both) :D

I was a little rushed for time though so my conclusion was crap :/

I got the leaders essay.

I used Robert Mugabe, Adolf Hitler, and then Thomas Jefferson as a counter example. I’m hoping I got a 10+

@joeybay - epic win for fitting cudi into your essay. Mine was a load of bs I hit a wall and couldn’t think. I only covered 1.25 pages :(

I used FDR and Truman. The prompt was ridiculously easy, felt like I was writing an APUSH paper.

I used Nixon, Hussein (kind of surprised to see that one used by someone else), and 1984.
