<p>livetodance: your question is a non-starter. You’re assuming that the topic choice somehow correlates to interest/successful admission into selective schools. They aren’t related. Essays with profound topics can be written poorly and full of boredom. Seemingly mundane topics can leave the reader grasping for more.</p>
