What did you write your SFS essay on?

arduouspallor: haha, I did globalization too! What was your theisis? Like, did it support or refute globalization?

I hope they didn't get like a billion on it...

gar_spartan: ****...mine was, like, excatally the same....

Mine wasn't focused solely on subsidies but I touched on it a lot...

Arab Israeli conflict..
It's disturbingly long, quite cliched and perhaps a bit overly detailed /: I personally think it's a disastrous piece of cr@p. I ran out of time run off to one corner and cry

China's new global nationalistic identity.

Andyes mine sounded very technical and I threw in some neoliberal globalization phrases that I hope don't sound like they went over my head... :X

kosovo ....

Piracy in Somalia.
I'm probably being overly self critical but I'm not very happy with they way it turned out.
I'm just relieved to have it finished and done with.

I wrote about Iran's nuclear program. It was two whole pages(~1400 words), but I managed to curtail it to 1 and a half pages, which was quite challenging.

Wow, China is rather popular. The adcoms are probably getting sick of it! Did any EAers who wrote on it get in? (I didn't)

possibility of genocide in iraq

i wrote about the whole Somali issue not just the pirates although they were included. I wrote about how an anarchist Somalia just endangers the entire world, disrupts trade and leaves an open window for terror camps and such.

tying together economic and environmental policy

The Congo Crisis....Now that I think about it, my essay really sucked. T_T

The need for more women in the fields of math and science, with emphasis on the irony that I'm not remotely a math/science person. Yup. Pretty much failed at that one. =P

i wrote about my experiences with ethiopian immigrants in israel and the failure of the education system to enable them to function in society.
i think my direct exposure to it helped my case

mine seems so banal compared to everyone else - i wrote about the continuing presence of Sinn Fein and how the northern irish are still struggling amongst themselves and the continuing question of a united ireland.

that doesnt sound very banal...its an important issue

i wrote mine on us mercenaries in iraq abusing international human rights laws.
