What did your freshman schedule look like?

I just want to see what the upperclassmen took their first year.

And I have another question. I’m a bio major and I got a 5 on the AP Bio test and a 4 on the Lang & Comp test. Does this mean that I will be able to skip “Organismal & Evolutionary Bio” and “Molec & Cellular Basis of Life” and be placed in a higher biology class? Will I be placed in Advanced Composition?

i’m assuming you’ll be either in IB or MCB. with that in mind, you are technically allowed to skip the introduction classes (mcb 150 and/or ib 150). however, it is generally not recommended that you skip mcb 150. mcb 150 covers some molecular biology concepts that aren’t outlined in ap bio, and thus someone who uses their ap credit won’t know as much as someone who took the whole sequence, and that can definitely put you under when mcb 250 rolls around. using your ap credit for ib 150 is more popular, as the topics in the ib curriculum are covered in ap bio. most of the bio majors i know use their ap credit for ib 150. i’m not a bio major, though, so this is to the best of my knowledge. ask your advisor when you go in for registration or hope that someone who is a bio major can confirm this.
