mine says:
i am a good student, i play soccer well, i am a rowdy student leader, i am very good at passing in my assignments (never a missed assignment!) and i am a gentleman. i am smart, i have good test scores, i am a nice, articulate person. i have been involved very heavily in my school activities through debate, soccer, theater, guiding light, and volunteering at the hospital. i am ambitious, but at the same time, i have a kind heart

Is it just me or do teachers not understand the idea of being unique in their letters? Every one of mine sounds the exact same.
I'm an excellent student, communicate well with my peers, willing to face hardships with eagerness, good independent worker, participates in fine arts and math/sciences, will be good asset to any college, blah blah.

He said I was outstanding like few students he had ever seen, my papers are consistently excellent yet what he knows me for is my exceptional contributions to the class that lead to a higher level of learning for all.

I waived my right to read my rec, but I'm positive that my Chem teacher's one was excellent, and pretty sure that my APUSH teacher's one was at least positive.

I purposely asked for my calculus teacher's rec.

She requires anyone asking her for a letter to submit to an application process, and I know that even though I'm usually in the top 5 of her classes, I've always gotten a borderline A-/B+ because I flake on hw a lot.

I know she knows I'm really a great great student, but I also know she's seen me at my flakiest/worst work habits, and she can tell the colleges that when I'm at my "worst", I'm still really good.

Those are the recs you should pick. (Even though I chose two other teachers who gave me glowing reviews :))

You misunderstood me. She knows why I can't do her DAILY LONG assignments because she's usually there at school when I'm there at 10 pm working on the paper (editor-in-chief).

It's not being lazy/ "misusing my potential".

I waived my right to read the letters, too. Lol, hopefully that made my teachers more comfortable to write a good letter. I did cry in my teacher's class one time...hopefully she'll write it off as "a passionate, sensitive soul" or something. xD

We should start rating each other on how ridiculous we are being. xP I give myself an 8 for being on CC too much and asking other clueless students about my chances of getting into college!! xP
