What do Business Administartion degrees do?

Major doesn't matter for law school, but I would do something in the liberal arts instead of business. Usually, the more abstract/theoretical, the better. For example, in philosophy, you learn to read difficult material and interpret them, reason with logic, write argumentatively, etc. You really can't get that with business. But it comes down to choosing a major that you'll like and do well in, so if you want to do business for pre-law, it's still possible.

Question, Liberal Arts major vs Business Major (even a specialized one like Accounting).

Will Biz majors have a good chance at Law school?

Law schools generally don't really care about undergrad major. Just have a high GPA and a good LSAT score.

abcboy, you stated that for a sociology major, you could go into marketing. What type of position for marketing? The reason I'm asking this is for a friend who is a sociology major, however they feel that they have very limited career opportunities (sans graduate school). Also, the research I've done on possible career opportunities with this major hasn't provided me with much and all of the resources keep stating the same things.

How amusing. Should i still stick to the Business Administration degree i want? Seeing that i don't know what i want to do for the rest of my life -_-
