Soon I will be attending school as a freshmen. I know what I will be bring as sleepwear, but I do not know what to expect from others. I just want to know what to expect from the other students. What sleepwear do the students wear in your dorm?

I have another question. When people are going to take showers, is it common to have a towel covering your body or do most walk around in the nude?

I walk around in the nude because I have something to personally show to everyone.

Those who have towels are covering up their obvious deficiencies.

-

Wear boxers. You don’t need some pajama pants and pajama shirt. Fall asleep in a white t-shirt or something. It’s not rocket science and no planning is necessary.

I wear boxers or shorts to sleep because our school doesn’t have air conditioning in the rooms. Going to the shower I wear shorts and then take them off when I’m in my stall and hang them on the door.

I just wear shorts or pajama bottoms and a t-shirt or cami. A towel a robe for walking to and from the showers. Walking around naked would be weird, to say the least.

When I lived on campus, I usually kept on the same t-shirt I had worn to bed and put on a pair of pajama pants in place of my jeans. My roommate usually put on a tank top and shorts. Once in a blue moon I would wear an actual pajama set to be silly. (My mom bought me a few for my college slumber parties… She never went to college.)

The girls on my floor either used towels or a bathrobe, but there were definitely no streakers. I’m not sure about the guys but I definitely never saw someone go from the shower to their room without a towel in my year there. If I did I would have been quite weirded out.

During the summer I wear boxers and just some shirt I have lying around, during the winter it’s usually some sweat pants. I’m a girl by the way.

I usually wear some sweet pajama pants or some athletic shorts. That way I can go to the common room or bathroom/ go outside for a fire alarm without having to scramble around for something. And usually the t-shirt I was wearing that day or shirtless.

I also wore pajama pants down to breakfast occasionally. It gets positive attention.

Of course, if my girlfriend was over usually naked or the shorts if I had to get up.

Because some other poster mentioned it, one time my gf wore a dinosaur onesie she owned when I came over. She prob thought it was cute/ funny, and it sort of was, but for some reason it was the least sexual/ most sexually repellant thing ever. Maybe because it was all child-like and… asexual, idk. It was just awkward.
