What Do Graduate Schools Think of NEU?

I got accepted into the engineeing program at Northeastern and am seriously considering it. My primary goal is to get a B.S. in Engineering and move on to a graduate program (possibly M.S. or Law School).

Does Northeastern send a lot of students to top graduate schools?

What do grad schools think of the academics at NEU and the co-op program? Will the work experience make up for the lack of academic research?

Does NEU prepare students well (academically) for top graduate programs?

I appreciate any input you may in this as this will be the deciding factor in my college decision. Thank you.

JoyJoy,

This doesn't exactly answer the question you asked, but it may be of interest to you.

A neighbor whose husband does a lot of hiring of entry-level engineers told me that he loves to find NEU grads, because of the epxerience they acquire via the co-op program.

Can't provide any insight on grad schools. But possibly they would view NEU students the same way that my neighbor does.

I don't think NEU students go to grad school.

Most go straight into the Real-world and start working. thats the whole point of co-op.

if you wanna be a doctor you have to go to med school, or a lawyer u go 2 law school still. those r grad schools
